I talked about how I’m so grateful to have loved ones who can empathize with this pain, but how difficult it is that they can never understand what it’s like to live with it.
She said, “Thank god they don’t. Thank god they don’t have to know what we know.”
And she is even happy for those who doubt our stories, because they must live with a sense of innocence.
